One more day to wait and prepare.

Perhaps I will unpack and repack my suitcase again in the morning. Do I really need one more sweater? How heavy is my suitcase now? Will I be able to heave it up into the overhead bins on the train? Will I be cold without the wool coat? How many layers will it take to keep a Florida girl warm in Rome & Florence in November? So many questions!

The mini Dell computer will not arrive on time, so I will get an Asus at Best Buy. It's tiny, but I can stay connected and hopefully post pictures here and on facebook. It's kinda cute. Sexy black. What more could I need? Maybe a dollar stronger against the Euro. It seems to be improving.

The Italian Journey

Seven days and counting! One week from tomorrow I'll be leaving for Italy. I've wanted to do this trip for at least thirty two years. So I'm setting up this blog--my first blog so I can post the events of my trip to the land of fine wine, fine art, and wonderful architecture.
